  • An animated fantasy of childhood where dreams carry a boy to far-flung adventure. Employs drawn backgrounds, inserts of photographs and still-frames to suggest movement. The boy arrives in Canada on an ocean liner and roams, in his imagination, becoming an arctic hunter, a cowboy, a hockey star and a swimmer. A combination of animation techniques for which the National Film Board of Canada is so famous.
