Crestbrook is a joint venture established by Mitsubishi Corporation (Sogo-Sosha), Honshu Paper Company (a Japanese paper manufacturing company) and Canadian capital. Highly successful, the company concentrates on the production of high quality wood pulp. Wood materials that had previously been simply discarded are now subjected to high pressure and temperature and then bleached. The resultant wood pulp is then exported to the United States, Japan and Europe. (Deposited by the Japan Institute for Social and Economic Affairs)
